We have a strong focus on high-quality teaching, we publish our research outcome in high-quality journals and we have access to well equipped labs. We are proud to belong to a university that is ranked among the top 100 in the world and we enjoy the international environment in which we operate.

The Division of Structural Mechanics is a part of the Department of Construction Sciences and is pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate education, as well as research in a variety of areas:

  • Computer-based methods
  • Fluid-structure interaction
  • Material modelling
  • Wood-based materials
  • Testing
